Huron Snowshoe Frame

Sale price$130.00
Quantity:

Similar in general shape and function to the Alaskan snowshoe, the Huron's upturned toe and large surface area excel at covering distances over an open trail through any depth of snow. These snowshoes have their roots in the Huron people who lived along the Saint Lawrance river in southern Canada and the Northeastern united states. They were further developed by French trappers, moving northward to explore and search for wealth. They are an excellent snowshoe for larger people, for carrying large packs, and for anybody looking to explore different traditional styles.
