Enjoy snowshoeing even more by making your very own wood-framed heirloom snowshoes, featuring the all-purpose Ojibwa style (11” x 54”), with larger and smaller sizes available as needed. All materials included with the price of the ticket.

Winter Camping Symposium October 20th - 23rd 2022

Join us for the 2022 winter camping snowshoe lacing class!

The class begins on Friday, October 21 at 9 am in the main hall. To reserve a spot in the class, call 612-861-2262. The cost this year is $135.00 per person; we will need to know your shoe size and style of snowshoe. Bindings will be available for purchase at the event.

The 2019 Winter Camping Symposium is over, some 235 attendees over the 4 day event where able to attend many interesting workshops from knife sharpening to wooden bowl carving, outdoor first aid, fire starting and of course snowshoe lacing to name just a few.
